Privacy statement

This statement explains how Dexels handles personal data collected through this website.

01

Who we are

Dexels B.V., based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, is the controller for personal data collected through this website. You can reach us at info@dexels.com.

02

What we collect

When you submit the contact form we collect the name, work email, company, role, enquiry type and message you provide, together with the date of submission. We do not ask for special categories of personal data. The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Your language preference is stored locally in your browser and is never sent to us.

03

Analytics and server logs

We run no third-party analytics or advertising scripts on this website. Our hosting and backend providers keep short-lived technical logs that can include the IP address, the requested page, the timestamp and the browser user agent. Those logs are used only to operate and secure the site.

04

Purposes and legal bases

Responding to your enquiry and the resulting business correspondence: performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before entering into one, and the consent you give in the contact form. Operating and securing the website, including technical logs: our legitimate interest in a working and secure site. Meeting statutory administrative obligations for engagements that follow: legal obligation.

05

How long we keep it

Contact enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within 24 months. Enquiries that do lead to an engagement are kept for the duration of that engagement and afterwards for as long as Dutch administrative and statutory retention rules require, which is seven years for financial records. Technical server logs are kept for a maximum of 30 days.

06

Processors and hosting

The website and its database are hosted on infrastructure inside the European Union. We use processors for hosting, database storage and email delivery, each under a data processing agreement. Where a processor uses infrastructure outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

07

Who can access it

Enquiries are stored in a private database accessible only to authorised Dexels personnel and the backend systems operating this website.

08

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, ask for a copy in a portable format, restrict or object to its processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Contact info@dexels.com and we will respond within the statutory period. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Status of this statement

This statement describes how the website works today. Dexels reviews it with legal counsel before running any campaign traffic to the site, and updates it whenever the processing changes.
