An independent engineering firm in Amsterdam.
Dexels was founded in 2000 by people with a research background in informatics. Today the company is led by principal engineers who remain hands-on in client work.

What we have spent 25 years on.
For more than 25 years, we have designed and built enterprise applications, databases, integrations, mobile applications and connected systems. Our knowledge also covers RF and wireless technologies including UWB, BLE, GNSS, LTE and NFC. Our current work applies that experience to AI, system modernisation and technical advisory.
We are strongest when a problem crosses boundaries: applications and data, devices and platforms, radio and physical environments, old and new systems, technical design and daily operation.
We are independent of software vendors. When a client needs a product or specialist that we do not provide, we say so.
We are based at Asterweg 17a7 in Amsterdam and work with clients in the Netherlands and across Europe.

The engineer you meet at the beginning remains responsible throughout the engagement.
We look at the system before we recommend anything
We read the relevant software, data and operating process before recommending a platform or design.
We explain the trade-offs
The client receives the reasoning behind a decision, not only a diagram or list of actions.
Your engineers stay involved
We work with the people who will own the system after the engagement.
